Despite the snowy weather, things are running full steam ahead at Foshay International. Course designer Jay Hambly has been on site for the first two weeks of March, working with his crew to build the first phase of our cross country jumps. We were lucky to have New Brunswick’s Justin Smith join Jay at Foshay to help with all the building. With now approximately 30 jumps completed, we are well on our way to what promises to be an unforgettable even Labour Day weekend. Phase two of the course building will get underway in April, nestled between Jay’s other course demands.

With vendors to secure for the Foshay Country Market (FCM), the Foshay International Organizing Committee (FIOC) welcomed Kelly Bolton aboard as Vendor Coordinator. With Kelly’s help, the FCM is coming together, and will be a family friendly atmosphere with all the local tastes sights and sounds of New Brunswick.
Finally, you are in for a treat when it comes to entertainment at this event. Nightly concerts on the waterside pavilion will welcome our VIPs, competitors and audience with headlining acts that we can hardly keep a secret. Between the world class competition, musical acts on the lake and the country fair atmosphere, there will be something for everyone at our inaugural event.
The countdown is on and there are only 166 days left until horses and riders will be arriving on site. With Spring finally here, our committee is shifting to the next gear, so stay tuned to our social media pages and website as we continue building this event from the ground up.
